Well, one of the magnolias is in fine fettle while the other (smaller) one is lagging behind in the flowering department. There's also still some miniature daffodils along with some rather ragged looking yellow primulas and 3 pink hyacinths. It's good to finally see some flowers in the garden.

Magnificent Magnolia...

Definitely Daffodils...
Or to be more accurate, daffodil in the singular, but nonetheless, it’s truly a delightful sight. Casting a glance at my still-half-dead greenery (or brownery) I can spot one bright blue hyacinth, and if I were to use a magnifying glass I feel sure that I would just about see the teeny weeny buds on my red jasmine. Two miniature rose bushes appear to have survived intact, and the magnolia is magnificent! Ladybirds are scurrying around on the fence, no doubt enjoying the glorious sunshine for once, but the forsythia remains the star of the show, resplendent in it’s yellowness against the clear blue sky. Long may it last…!
